colors of my garden
Snow in Baltimore at the end of February. I always look forward to the Baltimore Craft Show as a break from winter up north--I am supposed to see daffodils and pansies. My winter coat is supposed to feel too warm. Instead I will dream of this quilt--I named it "the colors of my garden" and think of next summer.
In my garden--formerly known as the vegetable garden I have peas, basil, lettuce, tomatoes and daylilies. Now I know that technically you can eat daylilies but I grown them because it is fun and takes me out of my world into a world of color, form and possibility. To dream of these reds and purples and yellows when outside it is grey and white and cold makes the wait for spring bearable.
Yes, as you may have figured out--I am starting a blog. Please feel free to join in and let me know what you think. I will add much more information as I work through another new technology. Yikes.
