I have just started working with small strips and am a fan of Rayna Gillman style pieces. I have to assume that you quilt as you go and sew each block together and place the binding to cover the seam. Is this correct? I have never tried quilting as I go as it seems more difficult for smaller pieces, but can see the value for larger works.

Anyway, I will be coming back to see what you are up to. Thank you for the inspiration.tutto a postohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15127417799885156763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6272459496236959464.post-36579210679809381902013-02-28T13:57:46.770-05:002013-02-28T13:57:46.770-05:00Think the song may be rainy days and Mondays....

So helpful!
Lizzie Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13114774129732023408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6272459496236959464.post-55243409945869908052013-02-27T17:00:52.230-05:002013-02-27T17:00:52.230-05:00Thank you Ann! It may take me a while though ;-) Just one question, if you don't mind, do you hand stitch the binding down with the whip stitch? I only found your work a month or three ago and, as a former painter, I love the way you use colour and light.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14223691871102821084noreply@blogger.com
